When we send an order for so a customer can fill out as HTML, the customer can reply, but we cannot see the order without downloading the attachement. However the full email can be viewed under: Settings/Email/Messages. 

The xml on the form is: <field name="message_ids" widget="mail_thread"/>. Anyone know what can be changed to see the entire message?

Just to update, you cannot see the original email. Checked the runbot, same. But when I send messages to my odoo account I can see the full email, including the entire history? So it is possible.

Hello,

This is bug in the mail_thread,py.

I was able to reproduce the issue. It is a bug. Any mail client that has the option when composing a message:  Increase quote level: indents each email reply -within limits- so that it is visually easy to identify to whom belong a block of text;

This option is on by default on  most email clients, gmail, os x mail, etc. Support is working on a fix.

This will cause the orginal email to be an attachement.

Issue has been resolved in v8, v7 a push was made, but still has errors, odoo says update soon.
