When sending out an email to a lead or opportunity the email starts with our company logo followed by a line and then the name of the lead/opportunity. Is it possible to not show this information so that the email starts with the body text?

The email layout isn't from the user defined email templates but from in-built view. Believe there are 2 views, one for internal communications and other for external.
These views would need to be modified.
Setting > Technical > Views
I had almost the same situation but I wanted to suppress the send email just to the Opportunity/Lead when it was created.
I had success using Automation Rules and Subtype as domain.
Name: Supper CRM Assignment email
Model: Outgoing Mails
Trigger: On save
Before Update Domain: Subtype is in Opportunity Created
Apply on: all records
Action to Do: Update to (Partners) by clearing it

I have the same issue with email header.
I don't know how to remove the two lines/opportunity name when I send message through the chatter.

Yes, it is possible to configure the email templates in Odoo so that the
email starts with the body text directly, without displaying the
company logo and lead/opportunity name in the header.
To achieve this, you can customize the email template used for sending emails to leads/opportunities.
Follow these steps:
* Go to the "Settings" menu and select "Technical" > "Email" > "Templates".
* Search for the email template that is used to send emails to leads or opportunities.
* Open the email template by clicking on its name.
* Modify the template content to remove the parts you don't want to include in the email.
* Save the changes to the email template.

Thanks for your reply. I checked out the email templates but there is no general one that is linked to a message sent from the CRM module (leads/opportunities. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to put a printscreen so iIwill try to describe in text.
When I use the send message feature in the CRM module the lead/opportunity receives the following message:
Company logo
------------------------------------------------------------
#Name of opportunity
------------------------------------------------------------
Body text
Email signature
------------------------------------------------------------
Company information
powered by Odoo
My question is on how to disable the first part (company logo, line 1, #name of opportunity, line 2. So the lead will receive an email that will start with -> body text
