how to set up B2B

Question

Our company manufactures machines that are sold directly to other companies.  We sell direct to businesses with typical manual B2B processes.  What we want to do:
1- Setup customer portal from which customer can place order with billing to customer AP once shipment occurs.  This would mirror current process where customer emails us and we enter sales quote / sales order.
2- Have customer be able to see status of their orders, expected ship dates, etc.
3- Have customer be able to see availability

That video seems to show a standard B2C application. It does not appear to mention B2B at all.
B2B to me means: allow portal users access to the product catalogue so that they can create their own draft orders while blocking unregistered users from interacting with the portal.
Odoo does not appear to be capable of doing that out of the box so if you have some specific examples of Odoo in fact allowing B2B funcitonality I'd love to see them.

There are many sources online regarding how you can create a B2B e-commerce Website with Odoo.
Take a look at this demo: "Embark on your B2B Website Management Journey with Odoo" [1] (youtube video)

You can always create your own personalizations, both on how you set your processes, and the customizations, but take in mind that every change in Odoo default proccess, will have development costs.
