Our company manufactures machines that are sold directly to other companies.  We sell direct to businesses with typical manual B2B processes.  What we want to do:

1- Setup customer portal from which customer can place order with billing to customer AP once shipment occurs.  This would mirror current process where customer emails us and we enter sales quote / sales order.

2- Have customer be able to see status of their orders, expected ship dates, etc.

3- Have customer be able to see availability of product inventory specified for the customer


Can anyone point us to video or documentation that can help us get this B2B functionality via the customer portal?

There are many sources online regarding how you can create a B2B e-commerce Website with Odoo.

You can always create your own personalizations, both on how you set your processes, and the customizations, but take in mind that every change in Odoo default proccess, will have development costs.
