Is it possible to define the number of sales quotes ie we like to use the current year and our business initial on each quote

Hi,
Yes it is possible, enable developer mode and navigate to Sequence menu under settings -> technical and from here, search for the sale order sequence.
Once you open it, you can modify it as per the need.
