In 1991, the US company, Bakon USA Food Equipment, was created to better serve the needs of the North-American customers. Since then, the company has been located in Southern California.
The company focuses on specific technologies and their applications in the food industry, especially the bakery, pastry and chocolate world.
In the mid 2000s, Bakon USA started producing locally.
In 2008, the company moved to the City of Torrance in the Los Angeles area (about 15 minutes south of LAX Los Angeles international airport).
At that time, they added a fully equipped showroom and made it available to professionals for a closer look at their equipment. The showroom has also provided the possibility of testing products, training, and participation in their regular classes. It has become a meeting place for food professionals.
They make aircraft ownership more economical by providing all of their services in one location: their state-of-the-art 200,000 square-foot facility at Bangor International Airport in Maine, where for more than 20 years, aircraft have been coming for maintenance and inspections, and to make things even more convenient for their customers, they also maintain sales offices and warehouses around the globe.
At C&L Aerospace, they hire the hardest working, most knowledgeable people in their field. From the Interior Shop Manager, who has a passion for making customers’ visions a reality, to the exacting Chief Inspector who won’t let an aircraft leave the hangar unless he’d be comfortable putting his family on it, the people who make up C&L Aviation take pride in what they do.
They believe in a one-stop-shop approach to aircraft maintenance, because ferrying aircraft from one facility to another wastes time and money. So, they built everything they need—from a fully-stocked warehouse with an extensive spare parts holding to the northeast’s largest aircraft paint hanger—right there in Bangor.
O&G Studio designs and manufactures furniture that defies time and tradition, including the most extensive and evocative line of hand built Windsor chairs on the market. With a commitment to honor and build upon American design traditions, they look to the past for inspiration and reinvent the classics for contemporary living.
In addition to expressing a distinctive economy in the design of theit products, Troscan constructs every piece with an eye to eliminating waste and minimizing adverse effects on the environment. Constantly in search of sustainable resources, they have not only worked directly with loggers, but accessed wood from city-harvested trees and forestry windfall. And when it comes to the all-important, hands-on aspect of their business, they employ the most proficient and experienced craftspeople in their shop and engage only the best outside sources.
ZipFit founder, Sven Coomer was the first to use open and closed cell foams in ski boot liners, and the first to abandon these materials. He switched his focus to a natural product and developed a proprietary cork composite material called OMFit to use as fill in the liners.
ZipFit aims to build meaningful relationships with ski shops, athletes, and customers, sourcing feedback and ideas to create the best products and an accessible, inclusive brand.
ZipFit liners are handmade in Montebelluna, Italy by the world’s best artisan boot makers. Using the highest quality materials, a complete understanding of foot morphology in skiing, and their proprietary OMFit cork, ZipFit craft ski boot liners that are uncompromising in their performance, fit, and durability.
The price of a pair of ZipFits reflects the labor of their master boot makers, the cost of premium materials, and a construction that has no planned obsolescence.
The value of a pair of ZipFits improves with every day of skiing in comfortable boots. Skiers who ski in ZipFits say it best.
