Hello. I'm just setting up Odoo for accounting. I synced the bank account.
I wanted to update the initial bank balance - I posted a journal entry in the miscellaneous journal against the bank account
but the balance in the accounting dashboard is not updating, although the general ledger seems correct.
Not sure how to proceed....
Hi,
Create separate accounts for each bank accounts in the chart of accounts, create a new entry as opening balances, and post the entry.
Make sure you enter the amount in credit or debit columns based on the opening balance type of the respective accounts.

My problem also is that I have entered a journal item but the running balance on accounting dashboard does not update
