Modify Account Type List

Question

From the type list that you see on the Chart of Account ("Bank and Cash", "Current Assets", etc.), can it be modified? I would like to either rename "Other Income" to "Other Income & Expenses" or create a new "Other Expense" type.

You cannot.
These types are hardcoded and the entire logic of the Accounting system relies on new types not being added.
Instead, research how to customize the financial reports:
