Save images in a local folder and then insert them into Odoo is a very cumbersome and time-consuming process, but it is the only way since when editing a product image Odoo opens a folder.

How could I change the edit image function to make it possible to open a link/url?

An even more efficient alternative would be the possibility to simple "Paste" a image!
