Suppose, a software company needs to manage their inventory. They provide their employee devices, foods, etc for use until they belongs to the company. The wants to track every piece of device, like who belongs to which device and how many devices are in stock currently. They needs to see the devices belongs to a employee. Assume that, here sales and purchase is not necessary and those module will be avoided to install. The company wants to use only inventory module of Odoo. The main things here to see the report of every product, and employee's all devices currently are being used. Is it possible to implement problem in Odoo ? If possible, how you will solve it ? I'm struggling to solve this problem. If anyone can help, it will be very helpful. Thanks for reading this post and for your time.

Thanks, but I'm allowed to use only Inventory Module. Everything should be done using only Inventory Module.

The most straightforward method (although Odoo might not be the best choice for such a job) would be to create a inventory location for every employee and track which devices are assigned to employees that way.

You could create devices as storeable products tracked using serial numbers and move them to each employee's location when assigned and move them out when unassigned.

What you're looking for is an asset management solution. I've used Snipe-IT in the past, it's pretty full featured and open source.
