Greetings,

We are trying to configure payroll app (Odoo 14). 

The company policy is to pay only for worked days/ hours, hence there is no tracking of leaves. The entitled leaves aren't deducted rather accrued and paid out.

There is however extra time which require to be captured as different rules apply. We have defined a work entry type(WORK300) for extra hours. In the applicable working times we have work entry type as "Attendance" Monday to Saturday 08.30 to 17.00 and "Overtime" (work entry name for WORK300) for Monday to Saturday 17.00 to 22.00 and Sunday 8.30 to 20.00

We are facing 2 challenges with this,

1. In payroll (worked_days) the Number of Days and Number of Hours always show the total days and hours for the pay period. How can this be modified to actual days & hours for an employee from attendance app?

2. On the working times, for the days where we have 2 work entry types (Monday to Saturday), it sums all of the hours as work entry type Attendance. Is there a way to split between Attendance and Extra time?

Even as of V15, this is not a standard functionality in Odoo. You would require to customize

The Attendance app is not linked to the Payroll app.

If you were to update employee contract and applicable working hours, payroll app would always show the worked days/ hours as 'all' applicable work days/hours for that particular pay period - leaves taken (if you have absence app). 

It does not consider hours/ days worked from attendance app.
