Multiple color values for one variant

Question

Hello,
I need some help with understanding the product import strategy.
My domain is sport clothing and there we've colorful shirts for instance.
One shirt has one manufacturing color. E.g. red/black/midnight which is in reality a shirt with red stripes and black stripes.
In my online shop I want the customer to select a color filter (e.g. red OR/AND black) in all cases I want the variant to be displayed.
The problem I see in odoo is that there is no chance to "map" the color "red/black/midnight

Hi Andre, I am now developing a module for that however i haven't completed that, yet. Until then, you may add Background Color, Pattern Color 1, Pattern Color 2 to the attibutes of the system and in your product templates, under attributes/variants tab, you choose all those 3 attributes. After you created the products, archive the ones that are not going to be manufactured/purchased/sold. Hope that will be helpful.

Hi,
By default there is no option for you to search for the product variant in odoo website rather you have to *filter*
the searched product to achieve what you need. But if you need to get
the product variant then you need customization to achieve that result
