I need some help with understanding the product import strategy.

My domain is sport clothing and there we've colorful shirts for instance.

One shirt has one manufacturing color. E.g. red/black/midnight which is in reality a shirt with red stripes and black stripes.

In my online shop I want the customer to select a color filter (e.g. red OR/AND black) in all cases I want the variant to be displayed.

The problem I see in odoo is that there is no chance to "map" the color "red/black/midnight" to filter colors "red" and "black". And when I select a filter the selected variant image is not shown in the product list.

Would be nice if someone with a similar setup can give me some hints.

Please mention when there are more information needed.
