hello everyone,

I'm using odoo 16 and i would like that when a opportunity is send to the won stage in the CRM kanban view, an automated email is send out to that particular customer.

I saw in older editions that there was a possibility to just add this in de settings of the stage but there isn't anymore

any one who can help me, please let me know!

An alternative solution for Odoo enterprise, which allows further possibilities, more sophisticated templates, as well as statistics would be to solve your requirement by creating a campaign in the Marketing Automation app.
For example: target "Lead/Opportunity", a filter on Stage "Won" with an email as first activity.

Thank you, for your answer.
Unfortunately it still doesnt work for me, do you have to configure your outgoing mail servers in the settings for this to work?

No, you don't have to configure SMTP server, you can still see the email in queue
