Downloaded community version and installed ODOO v14. on Windows 10 laptop.
After installation completed , system automatically opened local host on the default browser
http://localhost:8069/web/login
-- it is prompting - Email & pass
- after login -not finding any modules
how to enable modules
Click Apps to view modules and install the needed application in your database
I could not find APPS -itself on my screen
but i am getting different screen
i could not add attachment here..

The user access is set to portal user, you would need the user access to be Internal User and administrator as 'Settings' to view Apps menu
Hi,
After installing odoo, you can see the 'Apps' application. Go to that application and you can see all the applications inside your addons. If you have added any custom application, then you need to click on Update Apps List button which you can see after enabling the Debug mode from Settings menu and clicking the option Activate Developer Mode under Developer Tools.

You would need to login with the Administrator email id & password, the one that is being currently used has only portal access

Finally understood ODOO default user -ADMIN
Now logged in with ADMIN and changed my users from Portal to Internal

Now how do connect to DB - So far i did not install anything related DB.
