1. Does changing the information in an Activity Plan change the corresponding information on a given Activity?
Yes. Activities and Activity Plans they appear in share a single entry in Odoo databases, so updating one updates the other. No. Activity Plans are tracked separately from Activities within Odoo databases. Usually no. Activity Plans can be set to update Activities, but this must be manually enabled. Usually yes. By default, updating an Activity Plan updates any Activities within it, but this can be disabled.
2. When the Assignment field within an Activity Plan is set to “Ask at launch” and the field is left blank, who will be assigned the Activity?
The user currently assigned to the opportunity that the Activity Plan is being set up for. The head administrator of the database. Whichever sales team member has the least activities currently assigned to them. Odoo will ask the current user to assign someone to this activity and will not allow them to click away until someone has been assigned.
3. If an Activity has follow-up activities associated with it, will those be included in an Activity Plan?
Yes, if those associated activities are set to be Triggered and not just Suggested when the activity is complete. No, only Activities specifically assigned to an Activity Plan will be included in it. Yes, regardless of whether those associated Activities are set to be Triggered or Suggested. By default no, but in the CRM app’s configuration settings, it’s possible to change this behavior.
