Odoo already has SMS integrated but for some countries, it will be expensive, especially if you are doing bulk SMS.

Odoo also has a VOIP module for enterprises. so there is no need to integrate with Twilio or 3rd party modules.

Step 1: Authenticate Odoo CRM + Twilio.
Step 2: Pick one of the apps as a trigger, which will kick off your automation.
Step 3: Choose a resulting action from the other app.
Step 4: Select the data you want to send from one app to the other.

It would be for sure quite heavy development if you plan to do it yourself. There are already a few modules existing on our third-party apps' website but I would first ask for a demo and a list of features it provides before any download.

May I ask you why you don't use the standard features of Odoo for SMS and VOIP? It already exist in standard OE.
