La Cámara de Comercio e Industria Uruguayo-Alemana (AHK por sus siglas en Alemán) fue fundada en 1916 en la ciudad de Montevideo por empresarios alemanes.Como asociación sin fines de lucro brinda servicios de asesoramiento e información para facilitar los negocios entre Uruguay Alemania, y busca fortalecer las relaciones económicas entre ambos países. Con al rededor de 300 afiliados, la AHK es la Cámara binacional europea más grande y activa del Uruguay.
Forma parte de una red institucional que abarca 79 Cámaras de Comercio e Industria (IHK) en Alemania y 140 Cámaras bilaterales (AHK) en 92 países. Extraterritorial
