Odoo 16 Community - connecting to MS outlook

Question

I am trying to set up my odoo 16 community system to our charities MS Office emails. I have followed all the various instruction manuals on how to do this.
I am not a MS Office Azure expert. I have connected the two systems and got the green "outlook token valid" sign.
When I click Test connection, I get an error:
The server refused the sender address (my email address) with error b'5.7.57 Client not authenticated to send mail. Error: 451 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX

I had the same problem. You need to allow Verified SMTP in your Azure Email account.
Open the MicroSoft Admin Center and go to *Users* > *Active users*. Select the user, and in the flyout that appears, click *Mail*. In the *Email apps* section, click *Manage email apps*. Verify the *Authenticated SMTP* setting: unchecked = disabled, checked = enabled. When you're finished, click *Save changes*.
