I have customized image field in product template. While i use to upload csv and image files for those field it is showing the mime type is application/octet-stream in the database. and also not visible in the UI. But the image_1920 default field is working properly.
How to resolve this issue?
Did you use any image widget for binary field in xml? If you only put binary field it might be showing just text by default.
I have used the image widget. Actually it is getting some error while upload products by import CSV/Xlsx file. In the file I give the image name with extension (e.g. test.jpeg) and upload the same image.
If i give image from the form view it is okay.

I have already explore these. But my problem is when I upload data for my custom binary field it is showing import successful but in the form view it is showing image could not display alert.
