Hello Odoo community,

I maintain vendor prices by entering them in the product’s vendor price lists in the purchase module. When I create a purchase invoice from a list of products, I want Odoo to automatically split the invoice into multiple invoices based on the cheapest vendor for each product.

Is there a built-in feature or recommended approach to achieve automatic splitting of purchase invoices by vendor price? Or would this require custom development? If so, how can this be implemented using Odoo Studio or custom modules?

However, this method is less effective when dealing with direct purchase invoices, as quantities may differ from reorder rules. This could lead to unnecessary delays and create a more traditional, less agile procurement process.

For our needs, we require a solution that automates splitting purchase invoices by the cheapest vendor per product in real-time to maintain efficiency and agility.

Hello,

Yes, you will need to use a custom module to achieve your requirement. When you generate the vendor bill from your purchase order, multiple vendor bills will be created based on the cheapest vendor price for each product.
