I'm thinking of transfering my github user to organization. But what will happen to repositories that are related with Odoo apps? Will all history disappear or just link to branch changes when I migrate my user?
Is there anything I should be aware before doing this?

Usually the transfer of repo access is made per repo.
You can choose to be the owner of the private repo. Do not add other collaborator there.
