I'm new to Odoo and I'm loving it! Digging my way through Inventory / MRP I am wondering, if I can replace the stock ZPL view that Odoo uses for printing labels on my Zebra transfer printer.
So far I have found the built-in report by enabling the developer mode but there is a hint that any modification might be overwritten once the module updates. If I do modify the QWeb view I get the updated content printed out.
So my question is. How can I properly add my own report/view? I have added one but no matter what I do I never see it on the product page when I click "print product label".
Also. I managed to delete the stock QWEB view that comes with the Product Label (ZPL) report. How can I get that back? :)

Hi Robin I upvoted your question because I have the same question. I have been editing the built in view also and wondering the same: how to this properly without having to code a new module. Hopefully someone will pick up this question and tell us the steps!
