I have added a custom product field (product.template) but I can't see it when creating a new product. I can match a csv column against the newly created field but also in that case I can't see it when viewing the imported product.
I also can't see it in product variants. Also added a custom field to product.product to be sure.
What am I doing wrong? Using online oodo trial.

can you share the information like the odoo versions, and some screenshots of the xml code where you added the custom field

I'm using odoo online trial. And added the field by enabling the developer tools -> going to inventory -> products -> view fields.
Somehow I can't add a screenshot. Get a 403 unauthorized message when doing that
