For over 20 years, we have served distribution companies whose ownership ranges from large investor and government-owned entities to those owned by municipalities and cooperatives. Olameter also provides personnel and systems in support of other utility service providers – some are large multi-national consultancies, others are local contractors.
Olameter applies a formal system of environmental oversight based on the ISO methodology. The ISO 14001 standard provides a framework that a company can follow to set up and monitor an environmental management system that is subject to continuous measurement and ongoing improvement. At Olameter, we rely on both internal audits and external certification to provide our clients with proof of the efficacy of this system.
Performing in-field utility services involves numerous hazards– untethered animals, unruly ratepayers, foul weather, unmaintained sites, bad roads, and inattentive drivers, to name a few. Safety is the highest priority in all that we do, and Olameter relies on a health and safety assessment system that conforms to OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. These standards ensure that all Olameter personnel, whether in the field or in the office.
