TM-T88V printer not working with POS BOS

Question

I installed Odoo 8 through the opensourcer tutorial ( http://www.theopensourcerer.com/2014/09/how-to-install-openerp-odoo-8-on-ubuntu-server-14-04-lts/ )
I purchased recently an POS BOX and a printer Epson TM-T88V.
My odoo server is working fine and my POSBOX seems to connect when I use the Point of Sale App,  but I don't have anything getting printed when I plug the printer and the printer appears offline in the app.

Does anyone got this issue ?
What can I do ?

I have to same problem here and I found out that there are problem with USB port activation on the print, by default this kind of printer come with the wireless printing. This printer support wireless printing out of the box so the available USB B Female port on the printer (that going to connect to POS BOX) won't be activate by default you have to activate the that USB B port first by following instruction here : https://share.illinoisheartland.org/support/documentation/68
