1. You can check the status of an employee by following these steps:

- Go to Settings.
- Select Manage Users.
- Check all users you want to be affected in the list-view.
- Go to Action and press "Update Employee Status"

Additionally, there’s an app called Employment Status available on the Odoo Apps Store. This module manages the employee life-cycle from on-boarding to separation.

2. If you have all the administrative rights and still can’t see the status for some employees, it could be due to a few reasons:

Data inconsistency: There might be some inconsistency in the data of the employees for whom the status is not visible. You could check their records for any discrepancies.

Module configuration: Ensure that the Employee module is properly configured. In the Odoo 16 Employee module, you can create records of employees based on their job descriptions and places of employment.

User access rights: Even though you have administrative rights, there might be some specific access rights related to viewing employee statuses that need to be enabled.

Software bugs: If everything seems to be in order and you still can’t see the status, it might be a bug in Odoo. In such a case, you should report it to the Odoo community or the support team.
