I have a task with estimated time of let's say 12h. when I look at that task in gantt view the duration displayed is completly different (it may be 9.3333 or something else). can somebody please explain to me the reason for this difference ?

Have the same problem; I believed first this was related to the "working time" parameter in the related project, but this parameter was not even set....
