The Problem is that the user belonging to only one company can edit all the websites which belong to three different companies.

The situation is that it is multi-companies environment and there are three companies and each company has their own website. I defined which website belongs to which company and I try to edit an website with which one company access but for some reasons I could edit all the websites which should not happen.

Is there any way to fix that?

Hello,

Please check, Is sudo working on the write method where you are editing the website.

May be that is finding all the websites with the sudo and then perform write operation on them.

I hope this will resolved your query.

Also experiencing this problem. Just found this morning that one company accidentally edited another website. If anyone finds a solution to this please share.

I am also having this problem.

odoo13 multi company set up with multi websites (one website per company).

any web site editor (user) can edit any website (from other companies) they can just choose one of the websites at the top right in the website app and change to that website and edit anything.- even though they cant access the onther company (they can only see there own) they can access any other company web site - its like they are on different levels

I haven't had a good look at rules to restrict access but imagine it could be done

this is on odoo.sh
