PayPal Honey extension is the culprit. I uninstalled the extension and everything is now fine

I have also been having this issue, but only for a handful of users, the error message just says:

' UncaughtPromiseError

Uncaught Promise

null '

It looks like I'm not the only one experiencing the issue. It is super annoying.

I made some tests, in Firefox it doesn't occur, and my colleague with Chrome doesn't see the error. So must be within my Chrome installation.

I fiddled with extensions and it seems the culprit is the PayPal Honey extension. 

I have disabled it and no more errors.

There are no Javascript errors in the console when this appears.

It looks like the modal can be hidden by targeting the class o-overlay-container but this is obviously a bad workaround.

Same thing for me. It's getting really annoying because it will pop up even if you do nothing on the site, and it layers itself multiple times.

In fact, I get the same errors even here on this community site. I had to dismiss it multiple times while typing this message.

It seems to especially occur when you switch from and back to an Odoo tab.

But as far as I can tell, the error does not seem to break any of the Odoo tasks, but it certainly gets in the way!
