I am an Odoo developer and I'm looking for anyone else who has done or needs this done as well.

When printing pos receipts it uses a different function to proxy for hardware or send report to client. However it does not use a standard report action. What I need is to be able to toggle the method used for printing receipts per "Point of Sale" this would allow me to use Report to Printer functionality for POS receipts.

I'm sure most people get this, but what this feature would do is change the POS printer support from the 3 that need to be hooked up to a POSBox or the server to any model that has a linux driver using CUPS. This cuts the cost of a POS installation down considerably and allows for hosted POS solutions!

If anyone has started on this let me know.
