Is there a way to set my sales price as a 40% markup on my cost? I see lots of posts about displaying the margin, but I want to know how to set it (in particular for quoting purposes).

Hi
There is a price list, not if you saw it. What you enable settings for sales (Odoo 9.0) in Sales->Settings->Quotations & Sales->Sale Price->Advanced pricing based on formula
Then enter the menu

Next Add a product and use the price criterion
Next if you want to have a higher percentage price you put -20
or if you want to have lower price use 20 (business rules)
