I've seen some folks recommending the Expenses module for recording rent payments in Odoo, and while that's a solid option, there's another way that might be a good fit depending on your setup.
Here's what I'm thinking: what if we leverage the Assets module? We could create an asset for the house or office space, then under the depreciation schedule, set a recurring monthly entry for the rent amount. This way, the rent expense gets recorded automatically, and you've got a clear audit trail for the asset itself.
It is better to add that through the expenses module , and link it to the rent account in your accounting module.
