I have put a module and a theme in the folder openerp/addons but I don't see it in the apps list inside Odoo V9

You have to activate the developer mode to see the complete technical features menus.

Have you refreshed your modules list? (Under Settings > Update modules list)
Hi Yenthe,
In Odoo V9 (in my case), there are no 'update module' in the settings menu. The menu 'apps' is separate and there a sub-menu 'updates' but he answer 'No update' and I don't see my theme and the module!?
