Hi Guys,

I am trying to trigger a custom email upon creation of a sales order. Basically I would like to send an email to the inventory representative upon the creation of a new sales order. Somehow I can't figure out how to access this information.

I have a sales order with at least one order line - which I can't seem to access - and for each order line I would need to find the inventory rep. So potentially several email adresses are needed.

How should I go about this?

So far I have tried to access this information by going through the order lines on a specific sales order, but that seems not to work. The order lines list seems to be empty (when testing the email template) although there's an order line on the sales order.

Any hints or alternative solutions are more than welcome! :-)

Hi, I would think from this point. product can have user responsible.

after SO confirmed, you can make to triggers automated action to make some things(like email) to happen. try from this point. automated action some good examples here:

I managed to solve it this morning. Had to create a couple of custom fields, but now I can access the info needed.
