I am learning to use the Odoo enterprise Pos online app. It has german localization. I have pos 1 and pos 2. When I try to close the session i get a message      "Invalid Operation,You cannot use this account (1776 VAT, 19 %) in this journal, check the field 'Allowed Journals' on the related account."i dont have the accounting app.

i tried to setup a new journal invoicing>config>journals>new as default account, i have choosen 1776 vat.After that advanced setting,control acces I have chosen 1776 vat as allowed journal account. I still cannot close the session. has anyone a solution for that.Thank you.

Reason: Odoo's German localization enforces specific tax accounting rules, and the POS session is attempting to post to a VAT account (1776 VAT, 19%) that hasn't been configured correctly for the POS journal. The system is preventing you from using an account not authorized in the journal's settings.

  1. Check the journal configuration:
    • Go to Invoicing > Configuration > Journals and ensure the journal you are using for the POS session has the correct VAT account (1776 VAT, 19%) set up under the "Allowed Accounts" section.
  2. Ensure correct VAT setup:
    • Go to Invoicing > Configuration > Taxes , and check if the 19% VAT is configured correctly for the product and journal in question.
  3. Use the correct account:
    • If the problem persists, ensure the 1776 VAT account is linked to the correct journal, and double-check that no other restrictions are preventing the account from being used.
