I was getting a blank page after login even when developer/assets mode enabled. So I deleted assets from ir_attchmen table in the database and the server would regenerate them automatically as suggested in an answer here in the forum. Now, I still get the blank page but also the assets are missing from ir_attachment table and never been regenerated!
Anyone can help? Thanks in advance!

You can enable developer mode with assets then Open Developer Tools (tiny bug icon at the top right of your screen) and select Regenerate Assets Bundles.
