Odoo 15, Enterprise Ed.

I have created a Gantt chart in the Project module.  When hovering over a task, the lower-right handle (icon) does not appear that allows me to drag it and make a dependency with another task.  One of my colleagues goes to the same project and 'is' able to see the handles.  We have compared Project Settings and they are the same (both show the Task Dependencies checkbox as checked).  Any suggestions?

While I'm at it, is the best way to read task descriptions by exporting the data into an Excel-type report?  Unless I go into the Day view, I just get small boxes with perhaps the first word in it.
