In an enviroment where the products are manufactured and some products have no stock as they are made once the order is confirmed.

I would like to create a scheduled activity to a sales user with an automated action once the production is finished. The flow:

1. An order is placed for a product which stock is 0.

2. The confirmation of the sales order creates an automated manufacturing order as its route is "make to order".

3. The manufacturing order is finished.

What I managed to do after point 3: create an automated action that schedules an activity to a sales user, which notifies that the manufacturing order is finished so the sales procces can continue. 

What I would like to do afeter point 3: schedule an activity within the sales order instead of within the manufacturing order; this way the sales users dont need to have access to manufacturing. 

I was thinking that the origin field of manufacturing orders could be used. The origin field created from a sales order confirmation uses the name of the sales order and maybe using that same reference this could be done.
