Approval Notification

Question

Hi
How can i set a notification that will show (via email or in Oodoo ) to the manager to apporve the RFQ for vendor quotation
My main concern that how the manager will know there is now quotation need to be approved ?

You can create an automated action that raises an activity for the user who has to manage it.
Here you have an example. It is based on time (6 days after RfQ creation) but you can change the condition to "On create", if you want.

How can one set email configuration or notification for this?
I tried almost any automated action but didn't suddeeded to do so.

You can set email configuration for this or odoo message notification for this. In these both case when the vendor quotation is set in RFQ then in stage change process you need to fire action of either mail or odoo message as per your need. You can find example for both in the odoo base.
