Hi there! I am trying to implement Odoo on my own in my company, and at the moment I have the following problem: I need a single Manufacturing Oorder to be generated from a Sales Order with multiple finished products.
In my company we manufacture reeds for clarinets and saxophones, and we have several models, for various instruments, and of different hardnesses.
An example of a client SO could be:
-50 FOF Clarinet Reeds 2.5
-52 FOF Clarinet Reeds 3
-20 Jazz Alto Reeds 3
-25 Jazz Alto Reeds 3.5
-30 Classic Baritone Reeds 2
-20 Classic Baritone Reeds 2.5
Each final product has a BoM, composed by 10 reeds, 10 reeds holder, and the box. In this case, when creating the SO, Oddo would generate 6 different MO.
We normally work with MO that englobe all the products requested in the sales order, and it’s completely unhandy to have MO for products. A normal SO would have between 30 and 50 different products, and in a month, we can have 10 or 50 SO, so you can imagine how confusing can be for the production department having in a month around 1500 different MO of such simple products. This also is confusing when preparing the orders for shipping.
Is there a way to have generated a single MO when creating an SO with multiple finished products?
