How to change something on multiple contacts

Question

HI,
I can't see how to change "The default payement terms" on my 500 contacts at once ?
Someone knows how to do this ?

This is simple to do in Studio.  Add Customer payment terms to the List View and then you can select all customers and change it on the first record:

Or it would be simple to create a server action [1] (with a Contextual Action) if you don't have Studio.
Or download and upload is easy as well (ensure that you have one customer with the desired payment terms)

There are so many ways:
Export all contacts, change the field, import it back.
Write a little python script connect to instance via XMLRPC and carry out the change. This can be run from google colab or some free python ide.
Write an automated action that does this change and trigger it

Hello, in Odoo version 18, this feature is not included natively. To do this, you would have to develop a module that allows you to perform this functionality or do it one by one.
If you have a version lower than 18, you can search in Applications to see if there is a module developed that allows you to do this functionality.
