Thanks Jaideep, but this is essentially the same problem I was trying to avoid. Although there is a single kit BOM, see how each variant value is listed in the BOM on an individual line? I have hundreds of possible variant value combinations (imagine 5 different PC case options, each with 5 different CPU options, each with 5 different RAM options, each with 5 different hard drive options, etc, etc - 5x5x5x5x....). I do not want to add each possible product variant to a kit bom and match up 'apply on variant' values to each line.

It also doesn't allow for a country specific item to be added to the delivery slip - how can there be no functionality for this? Does every global seller using Odoo set up a 'variant' for country to choose a power plug?

Apply on variants could possibly optimize having to set up kits individually for each variant
