La historia de Casals se remonta a finales del siglo XIX (en 1881) cuando su fundador, Francesc Casals i Fransoy, abre un pequeño taller en el centro de Ripoll (Girona). De la mecanización de piezas de fundición y la construcción de maquinaria para fábricas y talleres, este pequeño negocio pasaría a ser con los años una importante empresa dedicada a la fabricación de componentes de herramientas y luego, de herramientas propiamente. The focus on startups makes trying to keep an efficient management service across all of the companies in the group a challenging hurdle, which led to the search for a versatile and dynamic software.
