Odoo-16 Community Edition

Website Editor was working fine until I changed the website theme. I edited the code of an inbuilt file (website.brand_promotion) using the "HTML/CSS Editor". Now after changing the theme, the website editor doesn't want to change anything(font family, size, header style, template, mobile heading etc.), If I try to change anything, it just loads and nothing is changed, everything is left at the previous values. I suspect editing the inbuilt file was the cause of this.

The things I have done/tried:

Updating base, web and website modules

Deleting the user values as posted here --> https://github.com/odoo/odoo/issues/44240

Changing to other themes.

Set all the correct headers on Nginx

Nothing notable in logs.

Please HELP, stuck trying to fix this for the past 5 days. Thank you
