We are using Odoo 12 Enteprise and updating next year to Odoo 14.

Does anyone have experience, is there a way to get RFQs updated after scheduler is run? Not only adding quantity because this works OOTB, but also deducting quantity if needed?

When creating a manufacturing order, that will create RFQs based on the route and reordering rules.

If we cancel a manufacturing order, is there a way to update the RFQs?

Lets Say for manufacturing of MO1234 we need 5 PCS of product 11111.

When scheduler is run, it creates us an RFQ for 5 PCS of 11111.

Next we decide to cancel the manufacturing order MO1234. There is no more more demand for product 11111.

The RQF should get updated next time the scheduler is run, by no longer requesting to purchase 5 PCS of 11111.

Does anyone know, is there a way to get this solved? Any 3rd party modules available? or is it solved somehow in v14?

At the moment we need to adjust the RFQ's manually.

You would only need to listen to Odoobot who will warn you on the RFQ ( warning message on the document  log) if changes happen to the source document.

Thanks

Thanks Vishal! Not sure if I get this right. We are not using Make to Order as routing. we use buy and have set the re-ordering rules to -1. This means, each time our sales orders or manufacturing orders create demand to our stock, scheduler creates RFQs. In our case source documents are re-ordering rules. I have not seen that cancelling demand (f.e cancelling a manufacturing order) would have any affect to RFQ. The Quantity on RFQ remains the same, and we don't get any warnings. The warnings you describe, are they in V14? (We have V12 right now but are updating to V14)
