Hi,
The route is the way that helps us to track the movement of the item from the purchase point to the inventory and from the inventory to the delivery point. That means routes are the different ways we use to purchase or sell an item. When using inventory terms we can say that route is a group of push rules and pull rules.

In Odoo, there are seven types of Inventory routes. These are:
. Buy: This route is used when products are purchased from suppliers.
Make to Order (MTO): This route is used when products are manufactured or procured after receiving a sales order.
Make to Stock (MTS): This route is used when products are manufactured or procured in advance and kept in stock to fulfill future sales orders.
Dropship: This route is used when products are sold by a retailer but shipped directly to the customer from the supplier.
Pull: This route is used when products are sold in a physical store, and the product is only moved from the stock location to the sales location once it has been sold.
Push: This route is used when products are moved from a warehouse to a store.
Cross-Docking: This route is used when products are moved directly from a supplier to a customer without being stored in the inventory.
Each route has its own set of rules and requirements that determine how the products will move through the inventory.
