Are you looking for how to set up the odoo in a on premise server ?

If yes, you can do as follows:

* Download/Clone odoo source code
* install and set up the needed dependencies and requirements like python package and postgres
* Create and configure odoo configuration and service file

You can do the above briefed steps manually or by using the automated installation scripts.
