Question: how to proceed when you have many products - it would be facilitate the process to us eg product category to define an analytic default rule for all products underneath, is this possible?

which version of Odoo do you have in production?

in v16 you have the option to set analytic account based on product category "using analytic plans"
in v15 it still applies for product one by one

can someone explain in simple words what these analytic accounts rule are meant for in V15?
I have the following challenge:
A purchase order is created and an analytic account is set on the product.
The analytic account is not automatically transferred the purchase order line.
As a result, when creating the vendor bill, the analytic account is not shown on the vendor bill invoice line, too.
I had the expectation that this analytic account rule could somehow help here...
