Hello together,

we are using multiple BOMs in a product with the first BOM being empty so that a sales order creates an manufacturing order in status draft which enables us to select a final production BOM based on internal decisions.

This basically works fine, but there is one problem which I could not find out via googling or other community posts:

If I open the manufacturing order and switch the BOM from "empty BOM" to "production BOM" the quantity changes always to 1. The "empty BOM" correctly shows the quantity as given by the sales order. 

Is there a way to avoid this behaviour?
